In order to cater to the needs of the industrial market, we introduced the brand name Selection du Chef.

Under this brand name, the margarine exists in sizes of 2.5Kg, 4.5Kg, 20Kg and 25Kg. However, the usage of each of the product differs. The different products are as follows:

Sélection du Chef Ruban Orange 2.5Kg

Selection du Chef Ruban Orange is an industrial type of margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils. This product is formulated to give optimum volume to soft pastry products, while maintaining a firm crumb structure.

The product is also designed to impart and maintain inter-leavening structure. It is used to make soft pastries such as croissant and ‘pain au chocolat’.

 

 

Sélection du Chef Ruban Rouge 2.5Kg

Selection du Chef Ruban Rouge is an industrial puff pastry type of margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils. This product is formulated to give optimum volume and puff to puff pastry products.

The product is also designed to impart a firm crumb structure.

This product is used to make puff pastry cakes.

Sélection du Chef Ruban Bleu 2.5Kg


Selection du Chef Ruban Bleu is an industrial type of margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils. This product is formulated to give optimum volume and softness to products, while maintaining a firm structure.

The product is also designed to impart a firm crumb structure and rapid melt – down in mouth to products in which these characteristics are desirable. It is mainly used for the making of ‘brioches’ cakes and salted cookies.

This product has very good heat resistance, making it suitable for cooking

 

Sélection du Chef Ruban Vert 2.5Kg

Selection du Chef Ruban vert is an industrial type of margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils. This product is formulated to give optimum volume and softness to products, while maintaining a firm structure.

The product is also designed to impart a firm crumb structure and rapid melt – down in mouth to products in which these characteristics are desirable.

It is mainly used for the making of ‘brioches’ cakes and salted cookies. This product has very good heat resistance, making it suitable for cooking.

Ruban Vert can also be used as a non- refrigerated spreadable margarine.

Sélection du Chef MIL Maspin Carton 4.5Kg


It is a non- refrigerated type of cake margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils.

This product is especially formulated to promote uniform crumb structure and bigger volume in cakes and is especially suited for firm spongy cakes.

It is also used to make salty biscuits and cookies.

Sélection du Chef Tara Carton 4.5kg

It is a refrigerated type of table margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils (mainly sunflower oil), enriched with vitamins.

This product is especially formulated to promote uniform crumb structure and bigger volume in cakes and is especially suited for soft spongy cakes.

It is used for spongy cakes such as muffins, salted cookies, biscuits, for cooking and for spreading.

Sélection du Chef Sunrise Carton 4.5Kg

It is a non- refrigerated type of cream margarine, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils.

This product is especially formulated to promote optimum fat globule size distribution when whipped with sugar, resulting in improved whitening effect.

Sélection du Chef Sunrise is used to manufacture cream coatings for bakery products.

It can also be used as a cake margarine, where a whitish color of the crumb structure is desired.

Sélection du Chef Shortening Carton 25Kg

This product is a good quality tenderizer and frying fat, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils.

It is mainly used for frying purposes – both shallow pan and deep frying. Also, it can be used for biscuits making.

The product has excellent heat resistance and shows high stability against oxidation.

Sélection du Chef Frying Fat SB Carton 20Kg

It is a good quality tenderizer and frying fat, made from edible, refined vegetable fats and oils. The product can be used for both shallow and deep pan frying.

The product has excellent heat resistance and shows high stability against oxidation

Sélection du Chef Frying Fat Fast Food LT 20Kg

It is a good quality frying fat, made from edible, refined vegetable oils.

The product is semi-liquid. It has excellent heat resistance and shows high stability against oxidation.

It can be used for both shallow and deep pan frying.

Sélection du Chef Ice Cream Fat ICMP 35 – 20Kg

It is a good quality confectionery fat based on edible, refined vegetable fats and oils.

The product has excellent heat resistance. It shows high stability against oxidation and is free from active lipases. This product is intended to be used for the following:

As a substitute to butter fat in non-dairy products such as coffee whiteners, whippable  toppings and ice-cream fillings.

As a substitute to cocoa butter for the manufacture of compound chocolate coatings in non- critical applications such as short-life coatings on bakery products.

In fillings or centers for biscuits and confectionery, manufacture of caramels and toffees.
